Brad Wallin Tournament

For the 1st time ever, I took photographs at the Brad Wallin Memorial Tournament today.  Here is a little bit about Brad:

Brad Wallin (1993-2004)

In October 2003 at the young age of 10, Bradley R. Wallin was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer in children called Osteosarcoma. After a 41 week chemotherapy regimen, weekly hospital stays, a leg amputation, and several surgeries to attempt to remove tumors that in the end metastasized in his lungs, Brad made his way around the bases and was “safe at home” in heaven. For Brad, the game is over and the season has come to an end as he walked off the field one final time with a career full of victories. Both on and off the field he showed us that it is not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game. He served his teammates and fans well, and for his efforts we will always remember the number #14.  Brad was born to be an athlete and most importantly loved the game of baseball.
